Meet Marsha Bennett: A Compassionate Team Member Who Goes Above and Beyond

Marsha grew up near Lake Michigan, where she enjoyed fishing and exploring the woods. Her interest in technology began when she discovered video games as a teenager. Marsha pursued her education at Lansing Community College, earning an Associate of Applied Sciences in Chemical Technology. She furthered her studies with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, focusing on Software Engineering, and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
Since joining Liquid Web in September 2017 as part of the Windows Team, Marsha has been providing global support as a Support System Administrator I. She joined Liquid Web, attracted by its exceptional culture, which includes great benefits, team collaboration, and positivity.
Marsha finds her career in the hosting industry rewarding, particularly when she can assist customers during challenging times, such as a ransomware attack. She emphasizes the importance of backup best practices and security measures to prevent such incidents. Marsha loves the teamwork at Liquid Web, where colleagues support and uplift each other, leading to positive customer interactions.
What sets Liquid Web apart from other employers, in Marsha’s view, is the exceptional hosting support and the willingness of technicians to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Marsha takes pride in her accomplishment of becoming a Support System Administrator, which allows her to contribute more effectively to her team and provide support to internal teams.
One memorable customer experience involved assisting with Data Protection Manager (DPM) Backups and adjusting schedules to optimize server resources. Marsha is known for her expertise in explaining Liquid Web’s products, particularly Windows Managed Engineered Services (MES), which provide various solutions for customers.
Outside of work, Marsha enjoys hobbies like reading, gardening, cooking, fishing, playing Magic: The Gathering, and practicing the concertina. If she could have dinner with a famous person, it would be Anthony Hopkins, for his multifaceted talents and fascinating personality.
