Highlights of Plesk Obsidian 18.0.75
Enhanced SSL/TLS Certificate Management
SSL/TLS management takes a major step forward in this release:
- Full support for short-lived SSL/TLS certificates
SSL It! now supports short-lived certificates, aligning with modern security practices and compliance requirements.
- Manual and automatic certificate reissue flows
Certificates can be reissued manually or automatically, ensuring continuous coverage throughout the subscription lifecycle.
Web Stack and Application Support
This update expands support for modern development stacks and applications:
- .NET 10.0 support on Windows and Linux
.NET 10.0 is now supported across platforms. On Linux systems, it can be installed and managed using the DotNet Toolkit.
- Joomla! 6.x support
The Joomla Toolkit now supports Joomla! 6.x, allowing you to deploy and manage the latest Joomla version directly from Plesk.
- Performance Booster support for MariaDB® 11.8
MariaDB 11.8 is now supported, delivering improved performance and compatibility for database-driven applications.
- Linux: WHMCS installer support for PHP 8.3
Official support for PHP 8.3 is available for WHMCS versions 8.13 and later.
Accessibility and Feature Improvements
Version 18.0.75 includes continued improvements to accessibility and overall usability:
- Improved keyboard navigation on selected pages
- Enhanced screen reader support using semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, and descriptive image metadata
- In Plesk for Linux, a new option is available to enable plaintext authentication in Postfix and Dovecot when required for specific mail setups

Deprecated and Removed Items
To keep Plesk secure and aligned with supported technologies, several components have been deprecated or removed.
PHP 8.1
As it reached end of life on December 31, 2025, PHP 8.1 has been removed from installation presets and been marked as “outdated” in the Plesk UI. For extended support, users can explore TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Support for PHP.
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 (Windows)
This edition has been removed after reaching its EOL (End-of-Life).
Apache mod_status (Linux)
Disabled during upgrades to improve security. This is a one-time action and can be manually re-enabled if needed.
APS catalog applications removed
The following applications have been deprecated and removed from the APS catalog:
- AfterLogic WebMail Lite
- AfterLogic WebMail Pro
- Moodle
- Drupal
- MediaWiki
- phpBB
- osTicket
- TYPO3

Stability Improvements and Bug Fixes
