Introducing Mariana Torrescasana: A Caring and Supportive Team Member
Mariana Torrescasana is a responsive, helpful, and dedicated individual who brings a personal touch to her work that cannot be replicated by automation. As part of our team, we are proud to recognize her as one of our Most Helpful Humans in Hosting® this month.
Mariana was born and raised in Brazil, where she spoke Portuguese as her first language. In 2004, she moved to the United States and eventually settled down after meeting her husband. She graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, as well as a Minor in Spanish. Since early 2020, she has been a valuable member of the Liquid Web team and currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two children.
Mariana joined Liquid Web in 2020 after working with the Nexcess Team at a digital agency. She appreciates the company’s inclusive leadership and the presence of women in leadership roles across various departments. Her passion for systems, innovation, and helping users succeed drew her to the hosting industry, which continues to grow as the need for web hosting services increases.
At Liquid Web, Mariana values the company’s genuine care for its employees, the strong work-life balance, and the sense of community and family. She is proud of her contribution to enabling Marketing to pull segmentation lists by product, a significant milestone that improved marketing efficiency.
While Mariana doesn’t interact directly with customers, she is proud of the positive reviews the Support and Customer Success Teams receive. She is known for her expertise in marketing strategy, marketing automation, email marketing, system integrations, and project management.
Mariana wishes customers knew about Liquid Web’s efforts to support the hosting community, including partnerships with organizations like Big Orange Heart and Magento Association. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, cooking, playing soccer, and supporting her children’s elementary school PTA.
Her favorite app is Instacart, which allows her to save time by avoiding trips to the grocery store. If given the chance, Mariana would love to have dinner with Ed Sheeran, whom she admires for his kindness and beautiful music.
